Kristen E. Bautista asked ME "What is up?"
...one step closer to a better sisterly relationship...
~~~
Sunday April 17, 2005 9:15 PM Pacific Time
Me, "So you know what's cool? All the Bautista sisters have boyfriends."
Kristen, "..."
Me, "Don't you have anything to say? Isn't that cool?"
Kristen, ".........Yeah?........."
...and sisterly relationship goes down the drain...
| why must i have a good hair day after the day is over?
not that that's the most of my worries. oh hell no. why must the end of
spring semester be soooo horrible?! papers, finals, registration for
fall, housing stuff, packing crap into boxes, taking 'inventory' of the
year, summer approaching - which is the best and worst thing of ALL...
knowing you won't see these people for FOUR FRICKEN MONTHS, unless they
fly over to visit u during the summertime. OMG i can't even think about
it.
but i can't help it.
happy thoughts... h-town friends, family, Max, smog-free air
(although vog isn't too great either), CAR, beach (hopefully), bigger
bed, real food, kitchen, dining table, furniture, somewhat fluffy
carpeting...
So I'm super excited for this interview I have to do for one of my
classes. I'm interviewing Jack Rabid, the editor/founder of an
indie music magazine called The Big Takeover, which is based in New
York. Too bad I have to interview him on the phone. But still,
that's cool; I've never talked to someone in New York before...
I'm @ the library, my usual Saturday mornings and afternoons. Just 5
more hours to go and I'm freeeeeee to go back to my room and sleep.
So things have been interesting as of late. Crazy, stupid-ass
comm papers (I really hate this major), mainly. OH, and some other
things as well... Turns out Nicki doesn't feel like she can tell me
ANYthing about her life, much less her personal life, even when I ask
her straight up "what's new???" Same with the other one.... i'm over it.
I'm in a sort of predicament. I hate the comm program here (as do
many other comm majors i know) but I love the people and I love the
area and the campus. I don't know what to do!! I don't want to 'waste
my time' doing something I don't even enjoy, especially when I'm not
sure what I want to do with it once it's all over... Then there's the
issue of money; need I say more... ahhh how bout I stop thinking about
this.
